Welcome to Native Tours CR. For us, transparency is key to an unforgettable experience. By booking a tour with us, you (the "Client") accept the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Reservations and Payments
- Booking Confirmation: A reservation is considered confirmed only after full payment for the tour has been received and Native Tours CR has sent an email or message confirming your booking details.
- Client Information: It is the Client's responsibility to provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including full names, number of participants, and any relevant medical conditions or dietary requirements.
- Pricing: All prices are stated in US Dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated. Prices may change without prior notice, but the price at the time of your booking confirmation will be honored.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as fair as possible.
2.1. Cancellations by the Client:
- Cancellation more than 7 days in advance: A 100% refund of the amount paid will be issued, minus any non-refundable transaction fees (e.g., PayPal or bank fees).
- Cancellation between 7 days and 48 hours before the tour: A 50% refund of the total amount will be issued. This is because we have already incurred non-recoverable logistics and entrance-ticket costs.
- Cancellation with less than 48 hours' notice, or no-show: No refund will be issued. Arriving late to the meeting point will be considered a no-show.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to: reservations@nativetourscr.com.
2.2. Cancellations by Native Tours CR:
- We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to extreme weather conditions that put our clients' safety at risk, unexpected closures of the National Park, or failure to reach the required minimum number of participants.
- Should Native Tours CR cancel a tour, the Client will be offered the choice to reschedule for another available date or receive a full 100% refund.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Punctuality: The Client must arrive at the agreed meeting point at the time specified in the booking confirmation. We are not responsible for a missed tour due to client delays.
- Physical Condition: Our tours involve walking on natural trails. The Client declares they are in adequate physical condition to participate, and must inform Native Tours CR of any medical condition, allergy, or physical limitation before the tour.
- Following Instructions: For your safety and the protection of the ecosystem, the Client agrees to follow all guide instructions and Manuel Antonio National Park regulations at all times. This includes not feeding animals, staying on marked trails, and disposing of waste properly.
- Personal Belongings: Native Tours CR is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items (cameras, phones, backpacks, etc.) during the tour.
4. Native Tours CR's Responsibilities
- Service Quality: We commit to providing the services described in the tour listing, including ICT-certified naturalist guides and necessary equipment (e.g., spotting scopes).
- Safety: Our clients' safety is our top priority. Our guides are trained in first aid.
- Limitation of Liability: Participation in adventure activities carries inherent risk. Native Tours CR is not liable for accidents or injuries resulting from Client negligence or failure to follow guide instructions.
- Wildlife-Sighting Guarantee: While our guides are experts at locating wildlife, nature is unpredictable. We cannot guarantee sightings of specific animals.
5. Use of Image
Native Tours CR may take photographs or videos during tours. By participating, the Client consents to these images being used in our promotional materials (website, social media). If you do not want your image used, please inform your guide or our team before the tour begins.
6. Modification of Terms
Native Tours CR reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The version applicable to your booking will be the one in effect on the date the reservation was made.
7. Governing Law
Any dispute or claim will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica.
