How to Buy Manuel Antonio Park Tickets (SINAC) Without Scams
The most common traveler mistake is arriving at Manuel Antonio and expecting to buy a ticket at the gate. For years, tickets have been online-only and they sell out. Here's how to do it right.
Where do you buy tickets?
The official system is SINAC (National System of Conservation Areas), run by MINAE. It's the only legitimate channel for both residents and foreign visitors. Sales open in advance and, in high season, can sell out within hours.

- Residents: reduced fare with valid ID.
- Foreign visitors: standard per-person fare; children often discounted or free.
- Parking: not included; paid separately outside the park.

Why do they sell out?
The park enforces a daily visitor cap to protect the ecosystem. In December–April and holidays, sunny dates fill fast. That's why it helps to choose your best time to visit and reserve the ticket weeks ahead.
Avoid the resellers
